An embosser presses your die into the paper itself. Nothing is printed, so nothing can be reproduced on a copier — which is exactly why corporate secretaries, notaries, architects and libraries still use them.
We cut the die to your wording and proof the layout before manufacture. Choose a hand model for portability or a desk model for volume.

Common questions
Before you order
No — and that is the point. An embosser deforms the paper rather than printing on it, so the mark cannot be reproduced on a copier or scanner. Use a foil label if you need the seal to show up when copied.
A hand embosser is portable and fine for occasional use. A desk model gives far more leverage and is much easier on the hand if you seal documents in volume.
A long-reach frame lets you place the seal further in from the edge of the page, which some document formats and boards require.
Often yes. If the frame is sound we can cut a new die for it, which costs less than replacing the whole unit. Send us the model details.
